Coconut Structure

Combining woven and macrame techniques to create layers and textures.

Combining textile processes

I am thrilled about the potential of creating new textile structures through the manipulation of knots and unconventional weaving techniques, resulting in three-dimensional designs.

While the art of weaving has defined rules that dictate the outcome of textiles, macrame offers greater freedom to guide and oversee the creation process.

By combining these two disciplines, the coconut structure has been developed, allowing for a unique exploration of form, texture, and structure through the utilization of both boundaries and freedoms.
